Professor Jay Younger

Bio...

 

Jay Younger is a practising artist and curator. Jay is a Professor at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University and has been actively engaged in the development of many emerging artists’ careers. Jay has evidenced great commitment to the establishment and growth of the arts industry and has served substantially and provided leadership as chairperson and at management committee level in many arts organisations. Her artwork has been exhibited extensively both in Australia and overseas and is represented in major public gallery collections throughout Australia. Jay holds four qualifications in visual art and education and her artwork has been assisted by significant grants through the Australia Council and Arts Queensland.
