Dignity
11 January - 12 February 2021
Exhibition
Dignity (2021) is an exhibition that represents the current time where people are heavily influenced by economic and old societal values that are in desperate need of changing if we want to better our future. The exhibition incorporates distorted and estranged video sequences in contrast with messages of positivity and enlightenment that challenge the ethical structure through image and sound.
Dignity is a postmodernist insight and questions why we live and what we live for? Standards of decency in our society have become compromised by the need for economic growth which is not always attainable nor tangible, yet many Australians adopt this attitude which can compromise our dignity.
